Dr. Warlich is responsible for the division „litigation funding“ at FORIS Group.
She studied law and European business law at the University of Würzburg and earned her PhD with a thesis in inheritance law at the University of Bayreuth. She was admitted to the bar in 2007, is a certified specialist for tax law and has joined FORIS AG as in-house counsel in 2020.
Before joining FORIS AG, Dr. Warlich worked in a law firm specialized on inheritance law and banking and capital markets law for more than a decade. She has represented clients in numerous banking and capital markets lawsuits. Further, she has advised clients in matters in corporate, commercial and inheritance law matters and has advised them in tax planning and tax investigation cases. At FORIS AG, Dr. Warlich is responsible for the firm’s dispute funding practice. Insofar, she manages all related litigation and arbitration.

Edgar Stieglitz studied law at the University of Münster. He was called to the bar in 2001 and has worked as a lawyer for FORIS AG since 2006.
Edgar Stieglitz has extensive knowledge of practising law and is adept in matters of strategies and tactics in civil suits from his many years of experience as a lawyer.
He is a member of the German Bar Association (DAV), Cologne Bar Association (KAV), the DAV’s consortium on labour law, the German Society for Construction Law, GRUR, and the German Federal Association of Company Lawyers (BUJ).

Mr. Christian Vaaßen studied law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn. Even before his legal clerkship, Mr. Vaaßen focused on the area of inheritance law. He worked for several years in the inheritance law team of a Bonn law firm, where he was able to gain experience in inheritance law and other civil law disputes.
Christian Vaaßen was admitted to the bar in 2022, having previously worked as a legal assistant at FORIS AG.
In the litigation finance team at FORIS AG, Christian Vaaßen handles disputes in general civil law, in particular in inheritance and medical malpractice law.

Mr. Olomon Ljumani’s practice at FORIS focuses on insolvency and corporate law litigation.
Before joining FORIS, Mr. Ljumani was responsible for the legal affairs of the German subsidiary of an American med-tech company as an in-house lawyer. Prior to that, Mr. Ljumani worked as a lawyer in a law firm specializing in insolvency law and, in addition to independently handling corporate insolvencies, was primarily entrusted with legal representation and litigation in insolvency and general commercial law.
Mr. Ljumani studied law at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster with a focus on commercial law. Mr. Ljumani completed his legal clerkship at the Regional Court of Münster and was admitted to the bar in 2019.
Mr. Ljumani regularly publishes on insolvency and procedural law topics in specialist journals (such as ZInsO or EWiR) and is co-author of a standard work on insolvency tax law. He is also a lecturer in Civil Law at the University of Public Administration North Rhine-Westphalia (HSPV NRW).

In the litigation and arbitration funding team of FORIS AG, Valentin Bogner focuses on disputes in commercial and corporate law as well as general civil and commercial law.
Valentin studied law at the University of Trier, the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn and the Université Paris-Sud. During his work as a lawyer in one of the leading auditing firms advising medium-sized companies, Valentin gained valuable experience in the field of commercial and corporate law as well as general business law.
Valentin has been admitted to the bar since 2022 and has been an in-house lawyer at FORIS AG since 2025.

Ruth Marie Mosch specializes in national and international litigation and arbitration and has been working at FORIS AG since 2025.
Previously Ms. Mosch worked for many years as an in-house counsel for litigation & arbitration, compliance and contract law at a global player based in Cologne. Prior to that, she was self-employed in her own law firm. From 2012 to 2015, she worked for the German Arbitration Institute (DIS). She was admitted to the bar in 2012.
Ruth Marie Mosch studied law in Freiburg i.Br., Grenoble and Bonn. She completed her Master’s degree in International Dispute Settlement (LL.M.) at the University of Geneva.
She speaks German, English and French.

Stefanie Jacob primarily works in the field of insolvency and commercial law. In addition, she is the contact person for inheritance disputes and litigations in medical malpractice law.
Since 2015 and before joining FORIS AG, Stefanie Jacob worked for two renowned law firms in the field of insolvency administration. She was responsible for the winding up of corporate insolvencies independently, which enabled her to gain extensive expertise. In addition, Stefanie Jacob gained experience at a “boutique” law firm in Düsseldorf specializing in tax and inheritance law.
Stefanie Jacob studied at the Rheinische-Friedrich-Wilhelms-University in Bonn and completed her legal clerkship in the judicial district of the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf. She was admitted to the bar in 2013.

Christian Schon studied law at Heidelberg University with a focus on corporate and tax law. He was admitted to the bar in 2016 and has been in-house counsel (Syndikusrechtsanwalt) at FORIS AG since the end of 2024.
Before joining FORIS AG, Christian Schon worked from 2019 at a medium-sized, internationally oriented business law firm in Düsseldorf, most recently as a salary partner in the Corporate/M&A/Venture Capital department. Prior to that, Christian Schon was employed as a lawyer at Ernst & Young Law GmbH from 2016, also in the Corporate/M&A department. His advisory focus was on leading and executing M&A transactions, financing rounds, and venture capital investments.
He also advised his clients on mezzanine financing and investment forms as well as on manager and employee participation topics. In addition to his purely legal activities, Christian Schon has been actively involved in the startup and venture capital sector for many years, as well as in business angel networks, including Scale-up.NRW, business plan competitions, as a mentor and speaker, and at the German Standard Setting Institute (GESSI) – a joint project of Business Angels Deutschland e.V. (BAND) and the Bundesverband Deutsche Startups e.V. for the development of balanced standard contract templates for investors and startups.

Yvonne Riegel has been working at FORIS AG since October 2021.
Yvonne Riegel has been supporting the shelf companies team since July 2022. She advises law firms, notaries and entrepreneurs from Germany and abroad on all topics relating to the formation, support and structuring of German corporations.
Since the beginning of 2025, Yvonne Riegel has also taken over the management of the UBO Register Services division. In this role, she is responsible for all processes and workflows as well as for the digitalization of the division in order to increase efficiency and innovation.
In addition, she supports the management board assistant in the organization of the Annual General Meeting and benefits from her previous experience as management board assistant at FORIS.
Before joining FORIS, Yvonne Riegel worked as an assistant in tax consulting and law firms, where she was able to deepen her expertise in both legal and tax matters.

Nils Weiland studied law at the University of Passau, focusing on labor law, corporate law, and commercial law. During his legal traineeship, he gained practical experience in the field of M&A at a renowned law firm in the Cologne-Bonn region.
Since February 2023, Nils Weiland has been supporting the Corporate Entities team, advising law firms, notaries, and entrepreneurs from both Germany and abroad on the formation, management, and structuring of German corporations.
As of February 2025, he has also taken on the role of Head of Compliance (Chief Compliance Officer) within the group. In this position, he is responsible for ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements, as well as for the continuous development and monitoring of internal compliance processes.
He provides advice in both German and English – competent, solution-oriented, and reliable.

Alina Miron has worked at FORIS AG since 2021.
She is responsible for administrative and organizational tasks in the business area of shelf companies and supports the consulting team as well as the sales department.

Christian Maletz has a Diploma in Business and Mechanical Engineering from the TU Berlin. Since 2020 he has been working for FORIS AG and is responsible for customer and market relations.
The development of new services and unlocking new markets have distinguished his professional career. Besides others he was a partner of a business consultancy, co-leader of three offices for a headhunters, an entrepreneur, a business developer for a start-up and manager of several innovative projects.
Head of Finance
Thomas Abrokat heads Accounting and Controlling at FORIS. His responsibilities comprise managing all commercial aspects within the FORIS group of companies.
Before joining FORIS, Thomas worked in various financial management roles at banks, factoring and leasing companies. From 2015 through 2019 he was in charge of the local German accounting and financial statements of SANTANDER Bank Group. At Volvo Auto Bank, Thomas was responsible for both local and international accounting and regulatory reporting since 2003. During this time he was involved in the qualifying examination for the Deposit Protection Fund of the Association of German Banks, in the introduction of ABS financing and in extensive due diligence audits.
Thomas Abrokat studied business administration at the University of Trier with a focus on tax after completing an apprenticeship as a banker at Commerzbank Düsseldorf. As a business graduate, he then worked for two years in Auditing at KPMG Cologne as well as 1.5 years in Venture Capital.

Milena Sanchez has been working at FORIS AG since 2024.
As a receptionist, she is the first point of contact for customers and business partners in our Office in Bonn. In addition to preparing for and following up on meetings, her administrative tasks include ordering and managing office supplies and internal catering.
Milena Sanchez also supports the administrative team at our subsidiary Go Ahead GmbH.
She benefits from her previous experience in customer service at a service company, in the event and trade fair sector and in the public sector in the administration of applications for flood victims in the district of Euskirchen.

David Kahl is a trained IT Specialist for application development and has been with us since 2018.
David Kahl supports the implementation of IT projects in the areas of litigation funding and shelf companies. For our subsidiary, GO AHEAD, he´s creating an optimized IT and software structure with Michael Seidel.
Software development
Michael Seidel holds a degree in Computer Science (University of Applied Sciences) and has been with FORIS AG since 2018.
He supports the specialist departments in the planning and implementation of IT projects. In addition, he optimizes our IT and software architecture.
He draws on his many years of experience in the design, implementation, and operation of complex, distributed systems across various industries such as warehouse logistics, automotive, healthcare, and project management.
Accounting
Michael Brück attends to the accounting and is responsible for the daily financial and business activities of FORIS AG.
Before joining FORIS, he worked for three decades in executive accounting and commercial positions at Cologne car dealerships for Mercedes Benz, BMW, Smart and Hyundai.
After his training as a wholesaler and export merchant, Michael Brück continued his education to become an accountant and business economist specializing in taxation and property management.
Controlling
In October 2023 Wiebke Zillinger started as a Controller and joined the Finance team.
Ms. Zillinger successfully completed an apprenticeship and studied a B.Sc. in food technology. After her M.Sc. she began her career in Bonn at Haribo Produktions GmbH. During her five years at Haribo, she accompanied the roll out of the new ERP System (SAP) as a Power User, focussing on production processes.
This responsibility deepened her interest in controlling activities and she gained experience and know-how in manufacturing and plant controlling. Before her current position at FORIS AG, Wiebke Zillinger was responsible for Strategical Controlling at the Police Headquarters Bonn.
Due to her varied background, she offers a new perspective and outlook towards our controlling processes.
CEO
Frederick Iwans, an American citizen, was admitted as an attorney in Germany in 1995. Effective January 4, 2021 he was appointed as Member of the Management Board of FORIS AG, with responsibility for litigation funding, monetization, legal and compliance. Frederick contributes 25 years of management experience both in senior operational and legal roles.
Following his legal studies at Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Frederick began his career in the year 1995 as an Inhouse Counsel for Motorola and as Head of Legal at CA Computer Associates. In 1998 he joined telco company MCI Worldcom, where he initially acted as Head of Legal and later as Country Manager Germany. From 2003 onwards, Frederick worked for Tiscali, a European ISP, both as Head of Legal & Strategy and as Managing Director of the B2B division, which he later on carved out by means of an MBO.
In 2009, Frederick moved on to United Internet group, until 2012 based in Philadelphia, USA as General Manager of 1&1´s US business, and until 2017 as Group General Counsel for United Internet AG. Following that, Frederick held the same role as Group General Counsel at GfK SE, a global market research company. Both at United Internet AG as well as at GfK SE, Frederick was globally responsible for the legal, compliance, insurance, risk management and internal audit functions.
In addition, Frederick has extensive management experience in B2B and large scale customer projects as well as process optimization, in particular in context with legal and compliance matters.
Assistant to the CEO
Christiane Mohn has been with FORIS AG since 2024.
As Assistant to the CEO, she not only supports the board, but is also responsible for cross-departmental projects and reporting. This includes, among other things, the preparation of risk reports, the co-organization of the annual general meeting of FORIS AG, the creation of company presentations and participation in the areas of investor relations and HR.
In addition, Christiane forms the central interface between the board of directors and the supervisory board.
In all of these tasks, she benefits from her training as a foreign language correspondent as well as from her diverse experience from comparable positions in large corporations, such as Deutsche Telekom and DHL. She now uses the knowledge she acquired there, particularly in the areas of IP, business management, project development, sales and IR, profitably for FORIS AG.
Human Resources Manager
Maren Thaysen is an economist and has worked at FORIS AG since 2009.
She has been in her new HR role since May 2021 and is now responsible for the entire recruiting and hiring process. In addition, she organizes and optimizes internal processes related to human resources.
Maren Thaysen benefits from her many years of experience in the areas of Executive Assistant and the Finance/Controlling department.
